Las Vegas: WrestleMania 41 is shaping up to be a blockbuster event, featuring several high-profile matches, including Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena and Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens.
Friday’s edition of SmackDown, held on March 21, 2025, delivered an electrifying night of action, where Orton officially challenged Owens to a one-on-one showdown at WrestleMania 41. The Viper shocked fans with a surprise appearance in the Elimination Chamber Match, interfering in the Unsanctioned Match between Owens and Sami Zayn.
Orton launched a brutal attack on Owens in retaliation for injuring Zayn at a previous premium live event.
During SmackDown, as tensions flared between Orton and Owens, Owens unexpectedly proposed teaming up to pursue the WWE Tag Team Championship.
However, WWE has now officially confirmed their singles match for WrestleMania 41, set to take place on April 19-20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Las Vegas.
